I first heard about "Despised and Rejected" because it was reprinted by the same publisher who reprinted EPS's books in the 1970s! Hathitrust has the 1918 edition (with US access only... or with a helpful proxy or VPN ;) Is this the original one, and/or would Project Gutenberg accept it?

ETA: Or would PG let you use a modern reprint if you ignored all the "new" stuff, like the introduction?
