And I'm very glad I chose a book that you ended up enjoying--since you would need to put so much time in it, it would be a slog if you didn't like the book. But I was pretty sure you would enjoy it! : ) Ha, it never struck me that it is quite a Broster-like plot.

Do you have plans to read more in Swedish eventually, and do you want recs? I was thinking that perhaps you could do a short story by Selma Lagerlöf, if you want something which is less of a commitment in time...
