It's true, the duty/loyalty conflict would be right up Broster's alley. Although like FotH, the fact that they are on opposite sides might make it hard to find a happy resolution for the characters. Would this AU end in Laurent's tragic death? He abandons his duty to care for Keith... and ends up shot for desertion! Or something.
