May 7: Late last night I finally realised why I was stuck on my Holmes longfic. This morning I made good on that by scrapping 3K words.

The rest of the day was spent in salvaging, retooling, transcribing (longhand that I wrote last month), and writing new words, to the tune of 2400 words. It's not perfect, but I'm in much better shape than I was, and am reasonably confident that I know how to move forward from here, which I absolutely did not before. So... tentatively hopeful?
