Yuletide ♥

[New icon for the season; thanks to [personal profile] luzula for the idea.]

I am having a very good Yuletide this year. :)

Firstly, I was not really expecting to receive NTS Kidnapped, being such a tiny fandom... From the moment of seeing the title of my main gift, therefore, I was delighted, and the fic itself is pretty well everything I could have asked for from a Kidnapped gift. It's a beautifully written, funny, heartfelt interpretation/development of the canon finale, full of longing and joyful reunion and kissing. I love it immensely. You should read it!

I think the author is probably [personal profile] verecunda :) But I could be wrong!

And this morning I received this gem of a Madness gift for Flight of the Heron: a fix-it fic about the heron itself. A lovely, quietly poetic story, with beautiful bird-writing.

I have an idea about the authorship, but am not sure, so we shall see.

I wrote three fics between the main collection and Madness, which I think are all more or less obviously me; I had a great time writing, and have had some lovely recip comments already. And now I am reading round the rest of the collection, in which there is some pretty good stuff.
