It is! And makes an interesting comparison to Edward Prime-Stevenson, possibly... I did find the uncertainty of the ending a bit difficult, not in the same way as downright tragedy but not much fun. Hmm, perhaps I'll check out some of Fuller's other books at some point—are there any (tragic or otherwise) you'd especially recommend? :)
