I'm glad you enjoyed this one! Yes, I really liked the lightheartedness in this book, as well--I found it a bit reminiscent of Heyer. This is the Broster I most want to record, after FotH.

If I had a criticism of this book, I'd say that it has far too much unresolved potential

I may write up a post about how reading the books Broster wrote before FotH has influenced my thoughts and understanding of it, because I think there's some interesting stuff there.
