And yes, I love finding out about books that were popular at the time, but haven't necessarily turned into classics, I probably wouldn't have heard of them without these lists! It's fun to spot the ones I've read, but getting recs is Very Good! (My copy of "Sir Isumbras" mentions "Lolly Willowes", which was great to see :D but also introduced me to Rosamund Lehmann and Mary Webb, and I'm still not done checking out all the ones I'm unfamiliar with...it's great fun!!)
