I read Excellent Women which was very good, but I did find it kind of depressing (which I hadn't anticipated, because all the reviews I'd read talked about how funny it was). I felt like it was basically about all the labor single women are depended on to provide and how everyone takes them for granted...and how that won't ever really change.
