Fic: 'The Brink of a New Life' (Armadale)

Today I finished a re-read of Armadale by Wilkie Collins, an amazingly exciting, dramatic and slashy Victorian sensation novel which I have loved for some time and which it's been great to see getting some more fannish attention lately. The slashy possibilities of this book greatly deserve to be explored further! I will write up a longer review presently, but for now, have a silly ficlet that I wrote a while ago and cleaned up today:

I see my library gives me access to a multi-cast audiobook of this; perhaps I shall check that out at some point.

You should :D Hmm—it's partly omniscient-narration and partly epistolary, with letters from various different characters and lengthy diary entries from one of them, so a multi-cast audiobook with different readers for the different narrators could work really well. I hope it's good!
