Once Upon a Fic reveals (ballad fic!)

I spontaneously decided to make some shortbread this afternoon—an excellent decision, it's turned out very nicely indeed. Delicious.

Anyway— Once Upon a Fic works have been revealed! and I've received this amazing fic, a magical take on the ballad 'Lord Maxwell's Last Goodnight'. Beautiful nature imagery and really interesting use of it—highly recommended :)

I love shortbread, it's such good comfort food! <3 I'm glad you've been enoying nice food and fic--that story looks great, nature imagery combined with magical+supernatural elements sounds wonderful and very JS&MN like! Heh, it did actually remind me of JSMN quite a bit, in some specific ways—but I'll let you read it and see for yourself what they were :D I'm working my way through the rest of the collection now—there is plenty of good stuff in there!
