I have this really gorgeous hardback edition of the complete Sherlock Holmes stories—cloth cover, gold lettering, coloured edges to the paper, pages thin enough to fit four novels and five short story collections in a single volume, all the original illustrations from the Strand magazine including one illustration in colour on the front cover. I love both the particular book and the stories themselves a lot, and I've re-read most of it several times—at that size it is necessarily a little bit impractical to read, but I don't mind.
It was a present, many years ago, from someone I don't see anymore, but it's good that I still have it.
