Hester sounds great! And I see that there is a Librivox recording, with a reader who sounds lovely! The recording sounds slightly marred in my opinion by the noise removal processing (I think?), which often leaves annoying traces. But still, I’ll definitely download that.
Margaret Oliphant was on my radar already, I’d downloaded a few of her books from Gutenberg, but hadn't read any of them yet.
