I did not sign up for candyheartsex, but I have had a good time over the last few days reading the fics written for my fandoms, and I must rec a few of them!

Firstly and very importantly, this Kidnapped story, which I love more than words can adequately express. It's a post-canon slow burn set across many years of Alan and David's brief, meaningful meetings, and it is absolutely beautiful. Lovely prose, lovely historical atmosphere and achingly full of emotion and longing—and the characters get their happy ending at last. <3

Thank-you for the recs - likewise I enjoyed the Kidnapped and Hornblower fics, and that they authors had so obviously but unobtrusively done their research. Such warm'n'fuzzy fics to read on a Saturday evening.
