It's traditional for the final number to use the full chorus, so it's possible they'll do some "we're finished now, that was the play" choral number -- that's a fairly common solution to that problem.

But yeah, as much as I want to see the production itself, I'd consider myself wealthy just to have the soundtrack. After all, a properly-composed musical puts all its major emotional beats into song, so you do end up with the greater part of the satisfying parts of the show on the album.
