Write Every Day, May 2023: Introduction

To WED regulars: Hello, all! I will be hosting Write Every Day in May. Check-in posts will usually go up at about this time, in the European early evening, and will be tagged #write every day. Looking forward to what will hopefully be a good month of writing with all of you :)

To subscribers who don't know what this is: For the next month I'm hosting Write Every Day, a roving writing support community whose goal is to encourage writing at least a little bit every day; I'll be making daily check-in posts here. Thank you for hosting Write Every Day! I took April off because I was focusing on other things (sewing mostly, and some volunteer work, and applying for jobs) but on the last day of April I got in over five hours of editing, so I think I'm ready to step back into WED :D

The sewing and volunteering went very well! The job search, not so much, (but at least no work means more time for writing?)
