regshoe: A woman in a black Victorian-style dress, holding an acoustic guitar and raising one hand to the audience (Frances)
[personal profile] regshoe
I have a book review post to write up, but I have been cruelly attacked by a series of minor ailments this weekend and don't have the energy.

So, instead, here's an NTS Kidnapped picspam! A lower-effort thing to cheer me up; something to keep us all going while we wait; and also because I've (somewhat?) figured out how to use Nitter to navigate Twitter without an account, making it easier to find and get reliable links for these pictures. And I love these pictures! There are so many cool little details that I just didn't notice on the night, with so much going on at once, and of course plenty of other stuff that it's nice to get a better look at. :)

All photos are by Mihaela Bodlovic. I can't promise these are all labelled correctly; I've done the best my memory can manage. I've posted them as links rather than embeds to keep this post a reasonable size.

Thank you for linking these! OMG, the incredible amount of tartan in Aucharn... and the forehead touch in the good-bye scene. So sorry I couldn't see this production but so glad it exists.

I looked at these way too late and thus sadly missed the photo of you out birdwatching. : )

Aww, I am looking forward to seeing the filmed production now! I think it's good that I get used to the way the actors look beforehand, otherwise I will just go: but that's not what they look like in my head! Although Davie is fairly close, actually (except for not being taller than Alan).

I think this is a joke I'm failing to get, but—you did not miss anything, that was also a joke :)
Ha ha, well, I failed to get your joke and thought you had first accidentally uploaded a photo of yourself birdwatching that you had then taken down and replaced with the right photo...
