I have a book review post to write up, but I have been cruelly attacked by a series of minor ailments this weekend and don't have the energy.
So, instead, here's an NTS Kidnapped picspam! A lower-effort thing to cheer me up; something to keep us all going while we wait; and also because I've (somewhat?) figured out how to use Nitter to navigate Twitter without an account, making it easier to find and get reliable links for these pictures. And I love these pictures! There are so many cool little details that I just didn't notice on the night, with so much going on at once, and of course plenty of other stuff that it's nice to get a better look at. :)
All photos are by Mihaela Bodlovic. I can't promise these are all labelled correctly; I've done the best my memory can manage. I've posted them as links rather than embeds to keep this post a reasonable size.

Date: Jul. 7th, 2023 12:15 pm (UTC)Aww, I am looking forward to seeing the filmed production now! I think it's good that I get used to the way the actors look beforehand, otherwise I will just go: but that's not what they look like in my head! Although Davie is fairly close, actually (except for not being taller than Alan).

Date: Jul. 8th, 2023 07:32 am (UTC)I think this is a joke I'm failing to get, but—you did not miss anything, that was also a joke :)
Anyway—I think it being theatre helped with the characters not looking like how I imagine—there's not really the same expectation of things looking how they 'really are' that there is with live-action TV or film. (But I agree that Davie is fairly close to how I picture him, too!). And I hope you get to see it soon...
