Summary:

At Morar, Keith gets the chance to make his 'decision too cruel'... and has to live with it afterwards. Meanwhile, Ewen works out the meaning of a decision of his own.

This fic was written while working my way through The Lyon in Mourning, which provided excellent inspiration :D A few historical details from it have ended up in the story.
