Further thoughts - I re-watched Jurassic Park last night - such a good film - and I wonder if the Brontosaurus thing is why they went for Brachiosaurus instead?

As for Stephen Jay Gould, yes, I enjoyed his books way back, though I couldn't answer questions on them now, I regret to say - all lost in the mists of time. They were always good sellers in the bookshop where I worked, though, so I remember them with fondness.
