I recognize this feeling about suddenly being able to write a novel length! Though it happened to me three years ago--it feels like leveling up, somehow. Not that short fic is not also very worthwhile, but one has a new ambitious option available.

I had no idea your current longfic is going to be so long! Although I recognize that, too--my longfics have often ended up twice the length I originally thought they would be...
