I did a bunch of editing on my exchange fic today (9th) and also wrote an ending for a different WIP that's been sitting around gathering dust for a month or two. I don't know why writing the last five paragraphs of a fic is so difficult, but it is, so I'm glad to have got there at last.

Sorry to hear that. Headaches don't help when you're trying to write.

May 9th - 1046 words. I finally wrote the fic I forgot I wanted to write on Sunday. The recipient was very pleased with it =)

Also managed to do some editing on Chapter 3 of my 5 chapter fic. WOOHOO!

I don't know if I'll be able to keep up with WED as much this month, as my writing time is soon to be consumed by a new job, and preparations for a costume event. But it's going fairly well, so I'll try to get a little in here and there.

May 9: Banner day, hit 2k. I’m hoping this is a sign of hitting my stride with this particular story and getting comfortable with the characters, so that even the low word count days feel useful instead of sloggish!

May 9: Deleted another 600 words of the longfic. (And put it up on tumblr because even though it no longer fits the story, I like it too well to just drop it in a deletion file forevermore either.) Then I wrote some beta comments. :-)

Ugh, I thought yesterday (the 8th) was bad (just some work words, but too tired to login and come here to say so), but today (9th) I worked 15 hours and just crawled into bed. I wrote an alibi paragraph just so I didn't have to claim work words for two days in a row. >:(
