regshoeI was turning over something muccamukk and I were talking about a while ago about how none of the other adaptations of Kidnapped (besides the play) have inspired their own distinct fandoms. Well, thought I, I suppose you could write radio play fic where Alan and Davie invent a new Jacobite/Whig duet or something...

(This is the first gen fic I’ve posted for Kidnapped, in which I seem to be more OTP-focussed than in other fandoms; and it hardly feels fair to count it, since I absolutely wrote with Alan/Davie in mind and there just doesn't happen to be anything explicitly romantic in the space of the story. Oh well; I'm sure I'll come up with a gen idea about one of the side characters one day...)
