Basically I was wondering: if Keith were to write Ewen a letter after the events of the novel (assuming some AU where he could do so) then how would he begin the letter? I guess I can go with "Dear Ardroy".

Yeah, I think 'Dear Ardroy' is probably right.

Funnily enough, I was just looking up some stuff about Jean Cameron for a fic! Yes, she was a Cameron by birth—apparently her father was also called Archibald Cameron. The lack of variety in names amongst important Jacobite figures continues to be confusing.
