Yay new Kidnapped fic!

May 6: 200 words of longfic, and I might have reached the end?? I'll let it sit until tomorrow and then reread the chapter. Total wordcount 148,400.

And then I wrote 500 words on the new fic, yay! So much fun. : D

Oooh, that sounds like the good kind of decision-making, at any rate, as opposed to the sort that requires loss of sleep. :-)

On Day 6, I added 767 more words of absolute tender filth to Chapter 12, bringing my MCs to the *ahem* crisis point, so to speak. ;-)

May 6th - Somehow I wrote a 1513 word fic. Not sure how that happened. Not that I'm complaining...

Day 6: 250 words!
I'm letting myself write tiny bits on every fic that inspires me, rather than concentrating on the ones I would like to finish first, because right now it feels more important to get into the habit of writing anything at all.

Tiny bits where the inspiration is going is a good strategy! It sounds like it's working well for habit-forming so far :)

Just a couple of paragraphs again today - but I wrote! I probably wouldn’t have, but I didn’t want to break my streak so soon in the month, and I’m glad I did because I got past a tricky bit in the plot.

Re how serious/dramatic you want to make this quarrel: both Alan and Davie are very dramatic. Knowing them, it's a choice between "dramatic" and "very dramatic."

May 6: 1K words, most of them smut. Now I have to decide what comes AFTER the smut. (The smut went a different direction than I expected it to, so the vague thoughts I had previously are no longer applicable.)

May 6: busy day between giving final exams in the morning and hosting friends in the evening, so I plinked a hundreds words into my phone tonight and I am going to bed!

Day 6: I decided to motivate myself to grade by setting intermittent goals and giving myself permission to read fanfic when I reached them. Which turned out to be excellent motivation! Aaaand I wound up leaving 5 comments, because I came across some amazing stories.

Yay for words written on the new Kidnapped story, and for hashing out the tone of the quarrel in advance!

Day 6: 78 words for the blog entry, but at least staring at my WIP for a time. ;op I'm still satisfied as it's gone suddenly rather hot and I've been gardening, and both together tends to paralyse my brain until I got better used to the temperatures.

Checking in for Days 4-6, ran a SPaG over an assignment before submitting, made more progress on outstanding assignments and on book club posts, and keeping up with the tabs and putting them in place. Sometimes I wish I had more time to do more things, but work beckons, always.

Oh dear, isn't that always the way with time and writing projects... But that's good progress on a nice variety of things, well done, especially on the submitted assignment!
